I dunno who’s sins Jesus died for, but I certainly suffered yesterday at the local ‘super’ market; having to push past people in the aisles who were arguing with staff over the 2 for 1 offers on easter fucking eggs, and then queuing up behind someone who looked like they had gone shopping for 5,000. Jesus fucking christ It made me so cross.

I think those that really want to pay their respect should try going without for a change. Why is Easter and Christmas celebrated with stuffing your face with various animal carcasses - people do that all year anyway. Seems the most important thing on their minds is "what's for Easter dinner." Greed.

ReplyDeleteI detest all ‘Religious’ holidays. In fact I don’t know what I dislike most. Christmas, or Easter.
Basically it’s all about conspicuous consumption. Christmas and Easter both just seem like an endless run of boring Sundays to me………..Erm, no offence to any ‘Christians’ out there.

ReplyDeleteIf you are a commercial person, then you will think in commercial ways. A true Christian knows what Jesus's holidays are about. Iam behind people everyday in line backed-up. Whether it be for some old lady with double coupons, or a delayed price check, it happens. Don't whine about it. I am a Christian, so I am use to people insulting my beliefs. I find your post here as commercial as the commercialization you are complaining about. Insulting the lord on his holiday is very typical and very unoriginal. He has had better insults thrown at him, believe me. Just because your faith in God doesn't allow you to see past people getting drunk and getting indegestion, doesn't show a lack in God. It only shows the lack in you. So, put a left over Easter egg in your mouth and stop complaining in your post. Do something more creative in them.
