Essential Ephemera #11
Remembering Nikki Sudden (19th July 1956 - 26th March 2006), with an article from a 1993 Record Collector Magazine.
Been reading your blog for some time now, probably just about the only place I've been able to find that actually has a fan's opinions on Nikki Sudden's music aside from the general uninformative bollocks on allmusic and all that shite. Do you happen to have the live Jacobites record called Kiss of Life? I stupidly set myself the task of owning all of Mr Sudden's releases and have found this one impossible to find, limited edition of 999 I believe (aside from that pretty much got them all apart from a compilation or two!).
What you have to say is always read, I may not always respond, as I've often said all I wanna say so I leave the rest up to you good folk to have your say, cos it aint just about me! Thanks to all of you who've taken time out to post replies/responses/information/links etc. KEEP ON KEEPING ON AND STAY FREE!
Nikki's passing was on 26 March, not April. Hard to believe it's now been five years.
