They just don’t seem to get it. <br /><br />If you are the sort of person who would have gone into any of the above sectors, and think enough along those lines to use them as some form of analogy for politicians wages, then as far as being an MP and serving your community goes, you are very much in the wrong job.<br /><br />My view is that being an MP should be viewed in the same way as many voluntary/third sector jobs. You do it because you want to. You do it because you want to help make a positive change in people lives.
