What you have to say is always read, I may not always respond, as I've often said all I wanna say so I leave the rest up to you good folk to have your say, cos it aint just about me! ReplyDeleteIf I remember rightly, when Clockwork Orange came out in the early seventies three or four thugs kicked a homeless person to death which was blamed by the media on Stanley Kubrick's movie, hence its unavailability for years on video 'cos Kubrick got pissed off and withdrew it from circulation.
ReplyDeleteHow he could be blamed when the book had been available for ages is beyond me but thats the power of the press for ya (whipping up hysteria).
Re. the actual current attack and the posting of it on websites by the perpetrators and those who happily watched it occur... Call me a fascist or whatever you like but yes, lock the scumbags up for fifty years if they commit the crime and lock up those who watched and did nothing to help the poor sod for five and make the bastards serve it.
It won't cure it but it's a start.
