CHARLIE HARPER and CAPTAIN SENSIBLE - Too Much Reality EP (*A Review*)

Punk Rock turns a complete circle with this mind fuck of an EP. Influenced by the pre-punk late 60's early 70's underground sounds of their youth Charlie Harper and fellow punk stalwart Captain Sensible have teamed up and produced a gem which sparkles and shines brighter than the turds in the Rock'n'Roll cesspit.
Opening track Too Much Reality sounds like a stormy and angry Hawkwind looking over a waste land full of everything but offering nothing. Space Virgins floats above the destruction, looking down like a political Pink Floyd, before  Human Traffic starts to throb and speed away across the border like 21st Century Deviants on a Triumph motorbike. The closing track Kamara, well imagine if Syd Barrett had produced The Damneds Music for Pleasure instead of Nick Mason.
This EP is a mind blowing Punkadelic spaced out spiked up trip. A seventeen minute assault on the senses that really does take you to a place deep in space. Available on CD and as a limited edition 7” vinyl (only 250 numbered copies ) from Time and Matter Recordings. Ignore at your peril!
