GIMME THE MUZIK!

LEAVE ANY REQUESTS FOR DEAD MUSIC LINKS IN THE COMMENTS, AND I'LL SEE WHAT I CAN DO ABOUT RE-POSTING SOME OF THEM, DEPENDING ON WHAT SURVIVED THE GREAT HARD DRIVE CRASH OF 2012. (Yeah, I know I should have backed everything up, some stuff has survived, so it's gonna be a lottery.)  ALSO, BE PATIENT, GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT.

Cheers for the re-ups!

Too bad about your media fire a/c, Nuzz. It was only a matter of time.

IMO Rapidshare will be the last domino. But it can take forever to download a simple mp3 from it if you don’t have an a/c though. I think a few file sharing sites are taking advantage of MU’s demise by requiring a casual downloader to have an a/c in order to get anything approaching a half decent download time. If you get further problems I guess you could consider doing what Noise Addiction does and use mirror. You definitely need to stay well away from anything official if you wish to continue though. No more vinyl rips of long deleted punk albums. All that stuff is still the subject of copyright. You shouldn’t really have any probs if you adhere to that.

Just some thoughts

Cheers for all the music

Hey Nuzz, which Punk song do the lyrics "So we buy it, we consume. We are the suckers" originate?
I've got an old John Peel tape with the song on it but don't know the name of the band.
Would be much appreciated...

Nuzz Prowlin' Wolf said...

Alright anon, the song in question is by The Wall and it's called Suckers and is the b-side of their debut single New Way.

Thanks Nuzz, been trying to find the name of the band for a while.

Hi Nuzz,

Is there any chance you could upload the Redskins - Epilogue CD? It's long out of print and impossible to find but I can see from the comment you posted on another blog a few years ago that you once downloaded it yourself, so hopefully you've still got a copy!

All the best,

Steve

Hi! I missed out on the live concerts by the Screaming Blue Messiahs that you posted. Do you still have them? If so, would you please repost any or all of them (The Last Scream, Mean Fiddler, or the Paradise Club FM broadcast)? It would be so very much appreciated. They were the greatest!

Any chance a re-up of Terris's "The Time Is Now" EP?

Noticed you posted about Folk Devils a few years ago, their entire recorded output is getting a release on CD and 2xLP next month on the Optic Nerve label. Long overdue, several years off pulling teeth to get it out but it's finally on the way. Cheers, Nick
