POST ELECTION RESULT BLUES.

Upon hearing the result my feelings went from anger to sadness via some hope and despair before settling on the following analysis

I didn't think it would be easy for Labour, but...... the size and scale of the defeat surprised and shocked me.

The working class are a fucking disgrace! They have no shame. and very short memories. They knew what they were voting for....Getting Brexit done! and an end to austerity yeah....the very austerity the people you just voted for brought about?
Long may they sleep on the floors of the A+E Dept at their local hospital let them choke on their US chlorinated chicken as they watch their rights disappear.

Corbynism (A media construct) hasn't failed, people have, they failed to see a different future, or weren't allowed the vision, due to media bias toward protecting the wealth of their paymasters. How anyone can think that a redistribution of money to help the less well off is a bad thing is beyond me....what sort of people have the British become?

Labour didn't lose because of their policies, they lost because of Brexit and Right Wing media bias which demonized Corbyn as a anti semite who was not to be trusted, while conveniently forgetting to mention Islamophobia in Tory Party and being complicit in spreading Boris's lies and racism, or banter as they'd prefer to call it.

Get Brexit Done....blah, blah, blah....Get Brexit Done....blah, blah, blah. Enough....Alright Let's get Brexit done and see where we are in a couple of years time, if we are in the shit, just remember it was the 'will of the people' that put us there.

A war of attrition; keep the pressure on. The Conservatives may have won, but doesn't mean people can't express their disgust and defiance at the views and opinions of the Prime Minister and his partys policies.

The voters didn't trust Corbyn? But they were happy to vote for a proven liar to run the country????????

Was the Working Class swing to the Tories an endorsement of Conservative policies or a rejection of Corbyns?
If it"s the later, then all is not lost, because if a large number of people have 'lent their vote' to Boris then they will expect something in return, HOPEfully more than Brexit, and if he doesn't deliver then just maybe people will wake up from the collective trance they have been put under, which has got us to the place we are in now. The only winner in the Election was the industrial scale capitalist propaganda machine that protects the power and wealth of the 1%. Break through their brainwashing and their game is over. Britain has never had a revolution, perhaps it's time there was one, only time will tell. Let history judge what we have done about it!

I hear talk about Liberal
Conservatism....What a contradiction of terms, and the reality is apparently Tommy Robinson from English Defence League has joined the party if the story is true that says a lot!

The British Amanda. Is going to sea in the summer of 2020. A flotilla of crafts will gather on the South coast of England ready to set sail from the White Cliffs of Dover in boats, dinghys, inflatable dolphins etc full of people seeking a better life in Europe and beyond.

We now have no effective opposition to The Conservstive Party thanks to all those Labour turncoats. So when Boris breaks his Election promises, as he surely will who's gonna stand up in Parliament and hold the Government to account? Still at least Brexits going to be done.

What can be wrong with nationalising parts of the UK's infrastructure make them accountable to the people not the share owners. So the people didn't like Corbyn....How did they know him? Through the media! How did they portray him....Well
In any other job Corbyn could claim bullying and harassment in the workplace. Let's hope those that voted Boris still have workers rights in a few years time.

As the Labour Party reflects on its "thrashing" they will seriously have to think if they are gonna be part of the problem or part of the solution for the less well off in our society remember New Labour and the Blair years? Champagne Socialists, Torys in disguise!

Anarchy is the future. Politricks have won once again, and I didn't even mention the Governments unpublished report into Russias involvement in EU Referendum! But hey it might turn out alright in the end....lest we forget the 2012 Olympics, but that only worked because both parties worked together for the good of the people. Perhaps they should or should have done the same or do the same with Brexit, unless they all know it's gonna be bad for the people.

TWENTY FLIGHT REUNION.

It's been nearly 35 years since the Twenty Flight Rockers roared onto the London music scene with their charged up, full throttle brand of Rock'n'Roll. Looking like wild ones, dressed head to toe in leather, nine yards of dead cow, and sounding like Elvis having a scrap with The Clash.
The band were put together by former Generation X drummer Mark Laff and Gary Twinn ex singer of Australian band Supernaut they were joined on bass by Jeff Vine and guitarist Ian Mckean.
They became a regular fixture on the London gig circuit circa 1985/86 supporting bands such as Lords of The New Church, Flesh for Lulu and The Cult as well as headlining in their own right at venues such as Dingwalls, Croydon Underground, Adlib, and The Marquee. A hot, sweaty and sticky night was always guaranteed. In their short time together they released a couple of singles ‘Tower Block Rock' and ‘Johnny 7’ and recorded a couple of Radio sessions before going awol to the USA and spitting up in 1989.  Thirty years later the original line up have got back together minus bassist Jeff Vine. but replacing him is Rock'n’Roll bass guitarslinger Darren Birch (Gunfire Dance, The Godfathers, Walter Lure) and Black Bombers.

A couple of months ago I asked Mark Laff a few questions about the Twenty Flight Rockers split and reunion.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO SINCE THE TWENTY FLIGHT ROCKERS SPLIT UP?

For me the Twenty Flight Rockers ended in Los Angeles in Summer 88, although it had really ended way before that and I spent the next few years recovering from an immense loss and not really playing that much. I did a session or two and had the odd jam with a few bands. I did a one off Generation X special for MTV in 1993. After this I bided my time playing with a few close friends until I started seriously thinking about playing again with a view to getting a record deal and playing live, this was with Ian the guitar player from TFR. The band included David Agar from The Passions for a short time and went through many transitions whilst trying to find the right line up. 2004/5 I had my own band Deadly Rivals which was a duo inspired of course by The White Stripes. The first guitar player was Garry Lammin, the period produced about 6 great songs and played the London circuit for a short time. I then decided to try and compile a number of recordings in the duet style with different artists, Bob Andrew’s of Generation X being one. The second guitarist to come along was Guy Mathews who I stole from the great band Steranko. Guy was a fabulous guitar player, very inventive and sang great, but the lure of a monthly salary and a conventional life stole him from the project. 4 years ago I moved to France full time and that pretty much brings me up to date with the music until this year when I played with Walter Lure of Johnny Thunders and The Heartbreakers fame playing songs from the LAMF album. The highlight was a sold out Saturday night and the band played great.

WHY DID THE TWENTY FLIGHT ROCKERS SPLIT UP?

In 1986 I asked Bernie Rhodes who was my first manager in the Subway Sect to manage us and try and get things moving at Warner Brothers who we had signed to. Bernie had a meet with the record company and concluded we had no future with them and we had no option but to try and get out of the contract. A plan to split the band up and dissolve the situation was hatched with the idea of regrouping in the US to sign with another major and go from there. Ian was asked to leave, which I knew at the time was a ridiculous and stupid mistake, he was irreplaceable. A miserable period followed trying to find a replacement for one of the best guitarists the planet has ever produced, Jeff then left and came back and Bernie struck a deal with Epic in LA and Gary and Jeff went to LA and I decided not to go, knowing it would be a very weakened version with a different guitar player. I relented about 10 months later and went to LA to record an album, however it was an impossible task to bring the band back to its original glory plus the mood had turned sour and I returned to Esher in the UK in 1988 a broken man. Gary and Jeff tried to continue with zero success.

WHAT HAS BROUGHT ABOUT THE LONG OVER DUE REFORMATION?

4 years ago found myself, Ian and Jeff in the same club watching The International Swingers with Garry singing (they played shite that night and I was very disappointed!) and it stayed in my mind that we all still could do something. This year produced significant interest for me to ask the other 3 if they wanted to play as Twenty Flight Rockers again. Jeff however has a career in the movie industry as part of the background staff and felt he couldn't give it the time it requires, so sadly our brother is with us in spirit only, although he still firmly remains an integral part of the bands history.

HOW COME THERE WASN'T AN ALBUM RELEASED AFTER THE JOHNNY 7 SINGLE?

Lots of demos and seriously good recordings were made with some amazing producers as a follow up album, but unfortunately Bill Drummond our A&R guy left to form KLF and it was down to an old school friend of mine at Warners to try and get stuff released but unfortunately bad decisions were made and our relations with Warners broke down. I am as we speak in discussions to get the Warners tapes released under the proper identity of Twenty Flight Rockers.

Thanks to Mark for taking the time out for answering my questions. If you didn't catch the Twenty Flight Rockers the first time round you seriously need to get to the reunion shows, and check out one of the best British Rock'n'Roll bands....

UNRELEASED / DEMOS / REMIXED POSTS. #1

It's official Boris Johnson is not only a liar, but also a criminal with his unlawful attempt to silence democracy by shutting down parliament. He needs to go.

Mind your language. All this telling people, even Boris what they can or can't say is a disturbing turn in our fragile democracy, what about free speech.

War like language. Words like surrender, betrayal everything is a battle.
With a bully driving s bulldozer ploughing through or democracy and freedoms.

Bullshit Bollocks Yes inflammatory language by our leaders can influence the populus, but should we allow free speech to be sacrificed at the alter of.....

The example of murdered MP Jo Cox is used as just how far it can go

Don't be fooled....we are heading towards a totalitarian fascist state where we will be told what we can or cannot say, and we will have asked for it unless we stand up to their attempts to silence people. Boris Johnson is a lieing cunt, but let him use what language he wants, because the more he says the more of a cunt he becomes.

The scary thing is that according to 'opinion polls' since the propagation of parliament ruling his popularity has risen, that's if you believe the polls.

Get Brexit done says Boris then everything will calm down and everyone will be happy, and unicorns will be grazing in fields of candy floss.

Bullying language used by Boris, is breeding hatred and division

It's a shame David Cameron didn't spend as much time thinking about the referendum when he called for it, as he does now. If he had, we might not be in this mess now, he must have been on drugs when he thought it was a good idea to ask the people. WHAT A C**T!

ALLEN ADAMS - R.I.P

WHO?.... Many of you may ask, or others may know that Allen was the driving force behind legendary 'Peterborough Punk band' The Destructors, a band I saw several times in the early 1980's at Stevenage (Bowes Lyon House), Cambridge (Sea Cadet Hall), and London (Brixton Ace) Spoke to/with Allen on a couple of occasions and from what I remember he was a friendly, amicable bloke. This may sound like it's all about me, but it's not, it's about remembering Allen and in order to remember you have to have memories. So thanx for the memories Allen, however faded they maybe!

JANUS STARK - Angel In The Flames (*A REVIEW*)_

Janus Stark's Second album Angel In The Flames is a killer! a full force head banging and pogo jumping storm, that blows more than the top of yer head off. It's a 12 track Rock'n'Roll program of Crashing Metal and Punk Rock guitars; with an almost 60's poppy psychedelia sensibility in places, thanks in part to Gizz's sensitive vocal delivery. Riffs chop and slash, the almost symphonic guitar solos cut like razor wire. The rock solid bass and pounding drums hammer away the rhythm.

This is impressive, intense and intelligent. Passionate, powerful and philosophical; many of the songs are born from Vocalist/Guitarist Gizz's struggle with the demons from the dark places in the human psyche, others are astute and angry Social and Political statements, with messages of hope and positivity during the bad times.
Gizz started his guitar slinging back in the 80’s with Peterborough Punks The Destructors before going on to play with English Dogs, UK Subs, and when The Prodigy took their dance beats in a different direction he joined them to add some of his fretboard finery to the mix. In 1997 Gizz then formed Janus Stark, releasing a debut album, and scoring a ‘hit single' in the USA, he then joined Steve Ignorants band preforming classic Crass tracks before getting Janus Stark back together last year.

It may sound like it's ‘The Gizz Butts Show', but it isn't this is a collective effort with band members Richard, Simon and Fossy sharing some of the song writing, and Charlie Harper from the UK Subs makes a guest appearance with his harmonica.

This is an important album that demands and deserves your attention. A perfectly timed soundtrack to the trouble torn times we are living in.

Available for pre-order from Time and Matter Recordings.

IT'S....MORE OF THE SAME!

Smash the Capitalist Death Cult. Save your soul! Destroy the years of consumer culture. In the techno age people need reprogramming, before they meltdown, it maybe too late; rates of mental illness are rising, it's good to talk, if there's anyone to listen. Does Social media really connect us all? or create jelosey, competition and isolation. Facebook, Faceoff, Instagram, insecurity! The need to succeed! the human race will destroy itself and the planet in their pursuit for profit and property.

Brainwashed, drugged, and seduced into servitude. This is a Cult(ure) people have consented to by their participation. Supply and Demand. People must be worn out from the constant competition, and surely the profiteers must have made enough money to stop needing anymore....Greed not need! Eat the Rich! These people are presented as images and lifestyles of how to be. Every suggestive and subliminal advert is a lie, a piece of propaganda, a brainwashing technique. The hidden persuaders. Cars give people freedom, but keep them trapped, big ticket items, credit, finance interest rates.

The planet and Mother Nature has had enough. Baking hot summers highest temperatures, coldest winters and record rainfall. pollution is a by product of the cheap products we buy from the new global economies China, Brazil etc. In their pursuit of economic progress, emissions targets are never aimed for. Climate change Extinction Rebellion. Extreme Weather, Extreme politics.

BAND OF THE UNDERHAND - A Long Way Home (*A REVIEW*)

The best music hits you in the head and heart, before it moves you to different places and fills spaces. Rock'n'Roll is not just youthful rebellion, it's for life, Band of The Underhand are a testament to that; several of these guys are veterans with a couple of 'em have paid their dues in late 80's bands Under Two Flags and Lightning Strike. The music they make floors you with a right hook and a cardiac arrest.

Their debut album A Long Way Home is packed to the rafters with big bold anthems and ballsy ballads that could pack a stadium never mind the backroom of a Spit'n'Sawdust pub. It's an expansive and enthralling, bluesy and rootsy Rock'n'Roll record, soulful, uplifting and funky. A life affirming listen that raises you up and loses you in a soundscape of weeping and screaming guitars, rattling, tinkling pianos solid rhythms, horns and harmonicas The lyrics tell tales of loneliness and isolation, hope and frustration with a bit of social comment and politics thrown in for good measure. It's polished and pure, packed with raw emotion and a passion that isn't a fashion. Another contender for my album of the year?....most definitely!

Coming to a country near you....Very soon!

A political system in crisis, Workers insecure about their jobs, New Trade Deals with the USA, There's a Horrorshow coming to a (dis) United Kingdom! Brexit is beckoning. Stand with Hong Kong, cos it may be coming to a country near you....Very soon!

People with little sense of anything and no idea of where they are being led and what they will find when they get there. Chasing unicorns and looking for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. In neverland they follower a Pied Piper who's gonna send em all over the cliffs edge.

A green and unpleasant land, what was sown is now being reaped, austerity cuts with a zombie knife. Dead policeman; propaganda. Lawless Britain: hang 'em high, build more prisons then throw away the key, bring back the death penalty. Manufacturing consent through the media content. Reality blurs with fantasy, in a disposable world life is cheap. The cause of crime is in the mind. Blame the parents blame the schools for turning people into fools.

Snippets and shitbits!

Luxury water? What the fuck!
The tide is turning. Climate change is a global problem that we have created by demanding cheap, disposable products. Buy now, pay later.

Hypersensitive society media disinformation desensitised to violence and the blood and gore of physical distress, but mentally and emotionally every thing disturbs. "If scenes/subject has affected you call 0770 blah, blah, blah for support" How many times is that said after the soap opera's? Pretty much every week. I've been doing my research, and it's been traumatic.
If I wasn't feeling disturbed before, I am now! Eastenders and Coronation Street are they reflecting reality or creating reality? I can only assume it's the latter because nothing I saw bore any relation to mine or people I know's lifes.

Fragmentated and over complicated Smart Phone selfie vanity another Instagram tragedy. Identity crisis anti-social media. No imperfection allowed. Jeremy Kyle the judge and jury. Bear baiting Chav hating. We are going to hell in an out of control Uber Cab driving through the debris of our take away and throw away society.

It's a strange old world when a comedian with no political experience other than pretending to be one on a TV Show is actually elected as president of the Ukraine. Whatever next, a reality TV show host becomes president of the USA....wait up.....If this sort of thing continues it doesn't bode well for any future UK elections.... Jim Davidson becomes Prime Minister!
Nigel Farage is a one trick pony; Anti EU and that's it, what are his policies about anything else, I dunno cos he doesn't say anything other than blaming the EU and Immigrants for everything that's wrong with Britain....The Brexit Party will probably do well in the European Elections, but that's not gonna be because of their success, it's down to the Conservatives, Labour and Lib Dems failings. FUCK THE LOT OF EM....C**TS! I'm gonna be voting Green, at least they stand for something other than the pursuit of power and profit.

It seems to me that there's a media campaign, were anyone that criticises Israel and the abuse of its power in trying to subjugate the Palestinian people is branded Anti-Semetic.

The age of un-reason.
Lies decet and dodgy Russian Rouble's.

Britain isn't full of Racists, but the Racists certainly fooled the people of Britain. They seem to fool some of the people all of the time
This may be a bit controversial, but....here we go....If people put in to something, then the should get something back. This is not the case, which is one of the things that can divide us....RESENTMENT

Regardless of Nationality if a person comes to Britain as an 'Economic Migrant' and they are prepared to work then fine, if they are fleeing war and persecution then it is, or should be the collective responsibility of the rest of Europe, including the UK to look after these 'Political Migrants' or to stop funding and supporting regimes fighting these 'Religious Wars' The people that had the power to change things within the EU unfortunately chose to abuse and profit from it rather than use it to fight for their country against some of the excesses of the European Union, Farage and his Anti- EU MEP Brexit cronies had every opportunity to negotiate better deals for fishing and farming industry's, but they didn't and now they are using the arguments about quotas and fishing rights as propaganda for Britain getting a better deal if we left the EU with no deal. They could have done more toward helping to end the 'migtation crisis' but then they wouldn't be able to use it as more propaganda for their form of fascism....it's all the immigrants fault, we want our country back. Blurgh, Blurgh, Blurgh!

GUNS DON'T KILL....PEOPLE DO!

It's wild way out West, more guns than people in America, another mass shooting more dead bodies. A psycho psychic; the right to bear arms. Mass shootings on a daily basis, another White Supremacist. They shoot children in the Lone Star State another cowboy full of hate. They cannot kill community tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree. From desert dust to industrial rust, unmanned drones and computer games, hot wired death into their brains. A weapon from Wal Mart, a bullet through the heart. Time to snack on a BigMac. Watch the story on the news, hear the gunman shooting the blues.

CRISIS - The Hammer and The Anvil (*A REVIEW*)

Forty years ago there were three bands that spoke to me both politically and musicaly; The Clash, Crass and Crisis. Fast forward to 2019, and only one of them have just released a new single. The Hammer and The Anvil b/w Dead on The Shelf Is Crisis's new single and it says as much about the state of Britain in 2019 as their UK79 / White Youth single did about Britain circa 1979, where nothing much has changed in the 40 years that seperate both releases. Alienation, Racism Social Control Divisions and Injustice still exist. Musically Crisis sound much how Crisis used to sound; taut, tense and tuneful....this is still ‘music to march to' Available from:- Relaxomatic Vibrator Recordings.

STEVE IGNORANT'S SLICE OF LIFE - Don't Turn Away (* A REVIEW*)

'Anarcho punk legend' Steve Ignorant returns with his Slice of Life and their second album, Don't Turn Away.
Musically Slice of life are as far removed from Crass as Crass were from Frank Sinatra, but lyrically the passion, aggression and compassion still remains in every word Steves heartfelt vocals deliver. A piano plays and backing vocals swing in a jazzy sway. An acoustic guitar and the bass keep rhythm in a beautiful and blissed out blues way. Folk music, made by folk with things to say and tunes to play. This may be mellow, but the emotions and feelings are not. It's still about fucking the system! but in a suave and sophisticated style. Ignore this album at your own ignorance! Stand out tracks?....all of 'em!
Available from Aug 23rd on Overground Records.

THOUGHTS'N'THINGS!

The Jeremy Kyle show, was safety valve for the rejected products of capitalisms over production a release for the surplus emotions and feelings, before they boil over. The non achievers and chancers that never stood a chance, those that made the wrong choices, people paraded in front of the public to to judge and condemn in a kangaroo court that makes the viewer/voyer feel better about their own miserable sad lives. "The public wants what the public gets....That's Entertainment!"
Lord of the flies in front of our eyes. Dead kids have become the norm. Law and disorder on the streets. The moral panic shifts as white kids are stabbed to death, or a 'knife murder' as I've heard the news reports refer to the latest attack, on not just a person but on society itself, what sort of a place have we become. Celebrity culture has got the X-Factor, Britain has got no talent. Dumbed down and out! Prices slashed everything is up for sale, and everyone's living and dying the fantasy!
Save the planet and save ourselves! Stop being slaves to the shit they are selling that we keep buying. It is all about the supply and demand. People demand it and they supply it. Adverts brainwash people, it's how they get the demand. Who are they? 'They' are the 1% with all the wealth, we are the 99% with nothing except the life we have bought from them. Think about it....who has the power....We do! How? By cutting their supply of money through not buying! If we don't play the game then the losers will be the winners. They can't demand us to buy, or can they?

"Out of the chaos would come bliss" - Dylan Thomas.

Take a step into the unknown, how about seeing what life would be like without Capitalism, now's the time to stick the boot in, it's in crisis, but somehow it will absorb the chaos and try to turn it into profit, if we let it and don't do something. You don't have to sit in a road to make a stand, just keep wallets and purses closed and cut up the credit card !

"BLOW IT UP, BURN IT DOWN, KICK IT TILL IT BREAKS!"

Despite what we are being told, things will change! once we leave the EU, for better or worse? Well that depends on who you are, and whether you have, or have not. Just how much do the people want it. Have they really got the will. Fury and fear, on the streets and in the minds. No more no deal. Will the ‘silent majority' start to shout, and what will they say?

This is how civil wars start. Englands Burning, and they've cut the fire services budget by 15%, and they sold Boris's water cannons for a budget price at the cost to the people a while ago and then there's the cuts to the police. Oh the irony let’s hope the people are gonna feel safe and protected if/when it all kicks off. Smash it all up and start again. It’s time for the people to “take back control" Whether it's Leave or Remain we are all being screwed by the powers that we let be.

Anarchy in the UK is coming sometime maybe sooner than you think. Here and now it's gone all that is solid burns and sends smoke into the air. The London Riots a couple of years ago could look like a burning match if people across this Disunited Kingdom kick off. Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, could be anyplace, anywhere people are angry enough, and have the bottle to throw a Molotov. More than cans will be kicked down the road. Gated communities and private security keep the wealthy protected.

Something needs to change, and something better change, because through out history we have lived as a divided nation. Upstairs and downstairs, masters and serfs, workers and bosses. Proud or embarrassed to be British?....Britannia waves the rules. In 2019 in the fifth biggest economy and people becoming reliant on food banks. The rich have got richer and the poor have got poorer, that’s capitalism for yer.

SOME THOUGHTS FROM THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS.

Riots and a journalist killed in Londonderry. Police threatening the “use of full force” against Extinction Rebellion protests that may take place at Heathrow Airport. The XR warriors are still on the streets of London....It's a nice and timely distraction from the Brexit Bollocks/bullshit that has been dividing the nation, now the people can argue whether the Extinction Rebellion should ‘be allowed’ to disrupt the streets of our capital city.

BB and XR are two sides of the same coin, and where are the powers that be still let be when the coin is spinning? on their holidays! Shows what or who they really care about. PROTEST AND SURVIVE! Climate change crosses political and social divides, it effects every one, and it's not just about recycling. Some believe that climate change is fake news and not happening, they probably still think that the earth's flat the Jews are running the world and it's all the fault of immigrants.

We should be celebrating the closing of town centre shops; we don't need to keep spending and buying, consuming and disposing. Yes people will lose their jobs, but if work wasn't seen as a necessary chore then it wouldn't matter. Why do we work? To earn money! Why to we need money? In order to live/exist/survive, whatever....Money makes the world go round, but what do we really need? Food, Clothing and somewhere to live, everything else is surplus, commodities we have been conned into thinking we really want, and need these extras, cars, designer clothes etc keep people chained to the machine. The production of these goods is helping to pollute the planet. Global free market Capitalism is killing the planet and enslaving the population in a prison of work.

All those people complaining about the inconvenience the XR protests have caused e.g getting to and from work. Let me know how inconvenient you feel when you are frying in your own sweat stuck in a car going nowhere fast cos the tarmac is melting. We are reaching a tipping point; socially, politically and economically. The times they will be a changing.
Knife crime and climate change; Two sides of the same coin, Capitalism is out of control! Supply and Demand....Why are people demanding to be supplied? Because the consumer has seen items such as Zombie Knives on TV programs/films, and they want one to live the Gangsta Lifestyle.

SCRIBBLINGS & SCRAWĹINGS

Knives crime is a disease so the government tell us, what they are doing is relabeling /defining it, in order to shift responsibility away from the police to combat it, what's that all about then?

By that logic, surely any crime is a disease. Abnormal and Deviant behaviours like killing somebody, and stealing are born from somewhere, nurture or nature, it's all psychological, and as a society, we are now seeing the harvest from the seeds of Capitalism and Democracy that were sown many years ago and have been nurtured by the established political order of the Left and Right, Conservative and Labour, Blair and Thatcher! The architects of this disaster with their un controlled free market globalistion and multi-culturalism, which was just a label for cheap migrant labour. The freedom to make money in a world where everything is up for sale. Human life is cheap from a violent Video game to stabbing some one, absent fathers play a part by not being there, lack of discipline and dumbed down schooling. Celebrity culture rammed down the throats of a mass of people hungry for their fifteen minutes, was this what Warhol really had in mind? What's their talents? Being nobodies that think they are somebodies. I blame the media, they germinate feelings, attitudes and actions in the behaviours of the people, from the young to the old, lifestyle choices are sold, that's if you can afford to pay the prices. Dissatisfaction television makes your life over, from homes to clothes, where you're living and what you are wearing isn't good enough, you need to change, you need more. Searching for perfection in an imperfect world keeps the credit flowing. What about those that can't afford to play the game, the new cars, homes and designer clothes what do they do? Go without or make do but for many Crime is a solution to; fraud, robbery, burglary and muggings, can all raise consumer cash the goods they have been told they should want. But for some they need to steal just to survive. We are living in a sick and unjust society.

Everything is getting washed away. If anything good comes from this Brexit debacle it must be that everyone can now see politicians for who and what they really are, and how our so called Democracy really doesn't work, and that it might be time for some new politics rather than the politricks going down today. It might also be time for people to change what they value in their lifes and what really matters in life.

Fuck me after two years of Brexit Bollocks they are at last gonna try and work together for the good of the country to reach a consensus on how to deliver the ‘will of the people' too little too late to sort out such a massive mess that they have created. Dead lock and distrust self serving their self interests as their party’s fall apart left, right and centre! A vacuum to fill. Power and control! Indicative votes indicate what? Just how really out of touch they are with the people and their will’s. All they really care about is themselves, and if the people look hard enough, they can see it....HOW MUCH LONGER ARE WE GONNA LET THE POWERS BE! 10,000 RIOT POLICE ARE WAITING! 6 MILLION SIGNED THE REVOKE ARTICLE 50 PETITION! THEY MAY STILL HAVE THE GUNS, BUT WE'VE STILL GOT THE NUMBERS!

PLAGUE UK - Vaccination (*A REVIEW*)

Plague UK are like a Sound Effects era Jam, or Billy Bragg with balls fronting a rock band. Poppy tuneful and catchy undercurrents amongst the waves of almighty full Rock on and pogo anthems. Vaccination is a real shot in the arm, the perfect prescription. A righteous, rioteous soundtrack and antidote to these trouble torn times.
PRE/POST-SCRIPT Plague UK have history they first broke out as The Plague in the Punk rock days of the Roxy, infecting it with their Pop Punk racket more times than most. A couple of singles were released and an album wasn't, until now, a few decades later in a time where fundamentally nothing much has really changed since then.  Plague UK have come back, or should I really be saying Marc Jefferies (Vocals/Guitar and Song writer) has returned, as he's the only original member in this new improved version.  VACINATION is available from the bands web site:  www.plagueuk.com Go get yerself injected!

BLACK BOMBERS - Vol 4 (*A REVIEW*)

Vol 4 is Black Bombers follow up to their eponymous debut album; this one's a mini album, and it’s “a shit kicker!" six slabs of pure and raw Rock'n'Roll which sound like the smell of burning rubber, greasy leather and dirty denim, as the roaring rhythm and bruised opening track Day after Day will testify. Next up there’s the scorching and screaming Relentless, followed by the feral howl of Animals ‘n' Cages. Gnarley is just that; a rough'n'ready instrumental, which reminds me of a soundtrack to one of those old Biker B-Movies. Sometimes is a taunt, tense guitar slashing full throttle cry of anguish. A gritty and growling cover of Green on Reds Hair of The Dog closes the proceedings on this short stubbly and skuzzie Rock’n’Roll kiss. That sounds like a street fight between The Gun Club, The Stooges and The Long Ryders. Available on the ever wonderful Easy Action Records.

ALVIN GIBBS & THE DISOBEDIENT SERVANTS - Your Disobedient Servant. (*A REVIEW*)

This review of Alvin Gibbs (UK Subs / Urban Dogs) long awaited solo album is its self long over due. The limited edition of 300 has sold out, but a CD digi pack is available from those good folk at Time and Matter Records. It’s a short, sharp, sweet and straight to the point blast of Rock'n'Roll. There are traces of Mott The Hoople, Iggy Pop and the UK Subs spread across the twelve tracks. Alvin’s unique and distinct vocals, interesting and intelligent lyrics offer both political and social comment along side personal tales from the Rock'n’Roll frontline. There are piercing guitar licks and ringing riffs strewn everywhere, and the pounding drums and thumping bass threaten to bring the house down. While the splash of spaced out and sublime psychedilia lifts the roof off. Alvin’s Dissobedient Servents are a Punk’n'Roll who's who of musicians. Mick Rossi (Slaughter and The Dogs), Brian James (The Damned / Lords of the New Church), Jamie Oliver (UK Subs), James Stevenson (Chelsea), Leigh Hegerty (Ruts DC), Timo Kaltio (Hanoi Rocks/Cheap'n'Nasty), Mel Wesson (The Verve/UK Subs), Steve Crittall (The Godfathers), Barrington Francis (The Saints) all play their part, and between them they have produced an album that is beyond brilliant, the sound is greater than the sum of it’s ‘blood fueled guitars.’ A contender for album of the year?...yeah!....too right!!!!

BREXITSHAMBLES

Sore losers....Nobody knew what game they were playing, and now they do, the rules keep changing. Who in their right minds would enter into a deal if they didn't know what they would get at the end. Now the people do know, there are adverts on the sides of bus stops now explaining what may happen if there is a No Deal Brexit, back in 2016 during the referendum there were lies on the side of a bus. So now it only seems fair and just that the people have another chance to decide whether Britain should leave the EU based on a more informed choice. Now that would be democracy! If the people are not given this chance they will have been sold a dead parrot!

We are being led like Lemmings over the White Cliffs of Dover, a nation's suicide. Albion is down and out. A disunited kingdom....green and unpleasant lands. Blood on the streets and hate on the internet.

Who was it that said no deal was better than a bad deal? Oh yeah, the same bloody person that can't get her own party to vote for her deal never mind the rest of 'em, Why? because they all know it's a bad deal. How Terressa May has still got a job is beyond me, our parliament should have been disbanded from the start, and worked together for the common good of the country, not their party's or own egos.. I mean, they couldn't have done a worse job. I do wonder some times that if Jo Cox (the murdered Labour MP, who believed we were stronger together, despite our differences) hadn't, been killed by a far right crazy had still been around things might have been slightly different. Mind you, that's like saying that if Nigel Farage had been killed in his helicopter crash a few years back we might never have had the referendum in the first place. Just saying....

This is what happens when from the very off two years ago when that pig fucking cunt Cameron under estimated the mood and will of the people and the power of populist politics when they voted to leave the EU. This didn't have to be. Brainwashed by the media with the years of anti EU propaganda....our sausages aren't the right length and our crisps are too crispy, then there was the constant attacks on imigrants; they're taking our jobs and houses, all fed Nigel Farages UKIP racist and reactive politics

There's more info about what leaving EU may mean than there was at the time of the referendum,

How was it ever gonna end well if the person in charge didn't believe in what she was trying to deliver. The worst Prime Minister ever; Weak and stubborn. Can't even take responsibility for her actions, or rather lack of action. Two fuckin' years she's had to sort something out, and her deal has made no one happy, leave or remain.

The Will of the People

Blaming the MP's for this Brexit fuck up, well at least they are standing up for what they believe in.

THE KIDS ARE NOT ALRIGHT!

THOUGHTS ON A SUNDAY

Did you know the highest number of terrorist plots the secret services have foiled have been from the Right Wing  not from Muslim extremists! What does that tell us....Well for one Right Wing extremism is still on the rise and two the powers we let be don't like to talk about it. Why? I dunno you tell me....perhaps our establishment still still harbours the Racist views it allways has from the days of empire to Stephen Lawrence and the more recent Windrush scandal and the Brexit bollocks.  We are in this mess because the the will of the people wasn't and still isn't prepared to accept that immigration is nothing to fear.

IT'S BEEN A LONG WHILE

Major computer problem, hence no posts for what seems like ages.  These words come via one of those smartphone gadget things.  Still not much has been happening ....HA! HA! HA!  BREXIT!  BREXiT BREXIT....A great British tragedy, our democracy dies infront of our eyes.  The powers that we let be are allowed 'meaningfully' vote after vote on Teressa May's shitty deal and the people are being denied a second referendum.  Perhaps that will be meaningfull now people are more informed about the consequences.  If all these votes are being described as meaningfull does that mean previous ones have been meaningless, including the referendom itself?
