AND...AS I STEP INTO THE PULPIT ONCE MORE

Revolution doesn't necessarily involve over-throwing the state and all its apparatuses. It's in the mind. The power to....reclaim our collective minds from capitalist control and credit culture. The power to reclaim our minds from consuming endless supplies of surplus shit. Stuff we don't need, variety and choice, of what....Products should be valued on their utility. How many different types of trainers, mobile phones, cars etc etc, do we really need ? It's about reclaiming our dignity and restoring human values. It's not about saying No, but shouting and screaming NO! I wont....upgrade, update, I don't need to, I don't want fries with that I'm fine with what I've got. It's about teaching our children that it's not all about Nike and money. The capitalist condition doesn't bring happiness, satisfaction is not guaranteed, the rich person is no better than the poor one, and at the day of judgement, it won't be about who has the most money or material wealth.

You can just imagine the general public's response - "the government should be doing something about that..." AAARRGGGHHHH! NO - THATS THE POINT.

I for one think it would be morally right for governments to impose prodution restrictions on capitalists making big bucks, but it aint gonna happen. We need to be realistic now and remember that we do have power it's about how we use it. If people change their consumption habits over lets say the next 3 years, and buy less luxury I'm sure it will be felt by the profiteers. It's happening already, people complaining about bank charges, demanding their money back, it would be great then if they didn't buy anything with it. After all they can't make us spend, or can they ?
