Today’s post goes out to Fathers4Justice, for taking a stand for the man against the man on the roof top of the Women and Equality Minister Harriet Harman’s house. I’ve been thinking recently that I really should get involved in some sort of non-violent direct action protest sort of thang rather than just sitting on my arse taping at a keyboard ranting and raving about everything that’s wrong with it all. I dunno about fancy dress though, but hey….By any means necessary and all that. From Molotov cocktails and barricades to superman outfits and stunts the weapons and methods of revolution may have changed but the message is still the same; people want control over their own lives and to feel oppressed no-more. Remember when smashing the state to keep a song in your heart, so hears some old skool/new skool anarcho punk pop from LOST CHERREES and some riot on ranting poetry from EDDIE GOLDTOOTH. This is an EP that was released in 2004 as a fund raiser for Fathers4Justice in their fight for Truth, Justice and Equality in family law. Check it out here!

I’m not a parent, so have no great interest in Fathers For Justice, none the less I gotta admire their roof scaling abilities and their tenacity. Strange though, despite their largely peaceful protests the media in general are reluctant to paint them in any form of positive light. On the BBC yesterday the reporter described the guy on the roof as looking ‘Quite lonely’. He didn’t. In actual fact he looked pretty damn pleased with himself.
Harriet Harman’s got a nice gaff. Using it as a yardstick I now understand why Barbara Follett’s window cleaning bill came to over £1600.
It's not much to ask for a father to spend time with his kids my own to sons do not live with me but luckily i have a reasonable relationship with my ex for those that don't the F.F.J. are doing all that they can to protest so respect to them.
I'm sure Follett could have found someone cheaper in the Thomsons Local. The media are fuckers when it comes to any form of protest, but do especially seem to have a downer on F4J after one of their other 'events' the papers were trying to make out that they were all wife beaters and bad fathers.
