Totally Random Music Posting #2

What's in the bag today? A relatively little known and largely ignored five piece punk/pop beat combo called The Seers with their energetic debut, the 3 track Lightning Strikes 12" released on Rough Trade in 1988. This is no nonsense Guitar raunch and pop melody stuff. Get it there.

Fantastic! Saw The Seers a few times at the Marquee - great band. They are doing a reunion in December for a one off Bristol show.

thanks for this.still got the 12".
i remember the lead track was about the hungerford shootings with a coverpic too.seem to remember it got em a few bans.
great if you could post the singles,they had great b-sides.

No problem guys, will post the second single and a flexi disc of theirs in the next few weeks, saw 'em supporting the Shamen once at some place in Leicester Square. Still sound fresh after all these years and subject matter is still relevent.

has anyone got the peace junkies cd album i think it was called that fuckin love this band great post nuzz me old mucka n look forward to the singles i did get in touch with one of the guitarists was gonna do me a couple of live recordings but he never bothered right pissoff but i still love em
