"Society Makes Me Sad"
I’ve OD’d on this ‘Riot England Sick Society’ story. Politicians could have cured ‘the disease’ years ago. They’re the ones that have infected our society! It’s le grande illusion, either a massive distraction for the masses from something bigger, or a massive deceptive of the masses; a means to justify a prescription of hard-line Right wing medicine for the perps and proles.

A quick glace at the cross section of people convicted of rioting reveals…a cross section of “Society”. Not, as the police tabloids and government would initially have us believe, exclusively unemployed yobs.

All people who Dave would no doubt view as ‘ard workin’ and the backbone of the country. Interesting.
just a bunch of thieving, opportunist c@nts in my opinion. Destroying homes & lives. Making hard lives even harder for the people that just want to get by. People that try to do things the right way.
I was so proud of 400 locals taking to the street the other night to protect their manor from the rioters.I was even prouder knowing that a large number of them were Millwall fans (my team), who have a reputation for not taking shit from anyone & an ability to kick arse.
I should have known better- I let myself down by believing for the slightest moment they were fighting for peoples rights. Looking out for the down trodden. By the second night this 400 'heroes' turned out to be members of the EDL who wanted to use it as an excuse to have a pop at Black people & the Millwall lads (I was proud of the night before) were only there so they could have a fight with the police. No better than the rioters then, in my opinion.
Who's to blame??? Every fucking one of us. Those that took part, those that supported them, those that let these people live & grow up in a world where someone can think this kind of attitude & behaviour is ok!
The worse part of all this is I have no answers how to sort it out. No quick fix solution. Can an individual have an impact! I doubt it, not in a immediate way. The Government, schools, authority, society, families are able to contribute & all share part of the blame (after all in the aftermath of all this it has now turned into a blame game) But ultimately it is up to us as individuals to make our own mark, hopefully it will be a positive one that can educate our friends, our neighbours, the next generation.
We must learn that taking no action, is negative & will add no value to our futures but taking this sort of action only makes things worse.
Can we not learn to respect the planet we live on & the people we live with? Vive La difference
Rant over- I feel better now.
I find it interesting PIL Head that you differentiate between the rioters and, as you appear to see them, noble football ‘fans’ who have the ability to erm, ‘kick arse’. In other words, and in normal speak…hooligans. The reason the football was called off this week was not because players were in fear of being attacked by rioters, but because the significant police resources (paid for year in year out by the tax payer) required to monitor most matches, particularly those of teams with a recognized violent fan base, had to be diverted elsewhere. To be honest I regard people like you and the rioters with equal contempt. You both use up my hard earned taxes needlessly. At least the rioters and looters only kick off once every twenty years or so, with you its every other weekend.
Riots only ever happen in summer so eventually when the ice age commeth end of riots - seriously we celebrated these types of things in other countries when they are NOT democratic and the media veiws them as legimate expressions of the people. Our media just calls them a minority of yobs - the scape goat here is young people and by 2030 the olds 65+ will represent some 25-30% of the population, thank god the kids will eventual die out
Anon, the way I wrote that probably didnt come across the way I meant. It was meant to be about people standing up and my misplaced pride was that it was people I have contact with. who are known for the wrong reasons, trying to do the right thing
I mentioned the reputation- as an emphasis that these were people the rioters might have second thoughts about mixing with. As they could not be easily bullied or intimidated. As I said by the second night I realised my mistake in thinking they were 'noble' in your words. I did also say in the post 'no better than the rioters then in my opinion'... did you miss that bit?
I think you may read the wrong press. as a Millwall fan (nearly 40 years actually going to games, not sitting at home watching the TV) I can tell you that at our games it very rarely kicks off, let alone every other weekend. Oh & as for paying taxes, I have never ever signed on -I have always worked.
I thank you for your opinion & the contempt you treat me with. I wont be entering into a cyber war of words I just wanted to address a few things, maybe I should have thought about my original wording a bit more carefully before posting.
Regards
What you need to do is to refocus your energies. Get off government disability, get away from your computer screen and get a frigging JOB. Make something out of your life besides trouble for others. And learn the difference between those who are worthy of your sympathies and them who in 40 years time will tell you…. “Look at what you’ve done to us.. You’ve made us adopt an entitlement mentality. You’ve robbed us of our will to succeed”! Just like the blacks are telling us here in the States now. And all because we made the big mistake back then of listening to idealistic fools who actually thought that Alice in Wonderland was not only for real, but also somehow obtainable. There is something better out there to be had. And today it couldn’t be more accessible to one and all. But you gotta MAKE IT. And usually out of nothing.
Sorry to sound like your Dad, but somebody's gotta do it. Welcome to the real world, azzhole.
I remember back in 1979 when they had the Liberty City riots down in sunny FLA. In the States, you know. It all started very much like yours did there. A young black criminal / motorcyclist attacked police after a long high-speed chase. The police finished the job. They defended themselves to the uttermost. Anyway, the blacks immediately took to burning and looting. I went to work the next day, and there was this old white-haired black man who drove a tow-motor in the yard there. Been working there for almost 50 years. He was looking at the pictures in the paper. And he said.....”Why them young bucks ain't protesting nothing. They're just STEALING".
Now.... if HE knew this being black, then why don't you? Why can’t you see that the niggers here were just STEALING `cause they DIDN'T WANNA WORK. That they were just using this guy’s death as an opportunity. This is how it always goes with you softies. Instead of affixing blame where it should go, you come along and spend the next year or so making up EXCUSES for them all. Like there is any. Poverty. Lack of opportunity. Discrimination. How much longer do we have to listen to this tripe? Right now here in my country, there are more blacks in JAIL than there are in college! Got that..?? Not that this is any fault of the whites (who are the ones that are forced to pay the black’s way through school). Because you see, each and every year there are STILL millions of dollars earmarked for minority education grants that go unclaimed! The bas&ards would rather live a short but violent life instead of TAKE the frigging opportunity that we are desperately trying to give them with both hands. It’s in their culture to be violent. It’s in the blood. It can’t be helped. They want to fail, and God help us if you continue on trying to make them anything more than a forklift operator.
Don't make excuses for these scum. They already hate you enough anyway! Why make it worse?
Do you by any chance post on a particular music related forum anon? The tenor of your speech seems strangely familiar.
ENOUGH OF THE RACIST SHIT, It wasn't just a black thang many of those arrested have been white! and like one of the more enlightened Anons pointed out they had jobs! cheers and respect Pil Head for taking yer time to have a rant, Interesting point from another more enlightened Anon (or are you the same more enlightened anon?) about the growth of 'the oldies' our time is coming, so long as people don't get distracted by Right Wing Rhetric.
A few fuckin idiots making comments, and no, not idiots because I hold a different opinion from them, but idiots because they they are so fuckin' wrong that it boggles the mind. Knee jerk lascists that couldn't think their way out of a paper bag.
What the fuck happened?
Was the intelligence bred out of them?
They aren't claiming anonymity because they don't want to put their name to the bollocks they are spouting, but simply because they can't spell their own name.
Idiot Anon said "Do you by any chance post on a particular music related forum anon? The tenor of your speech seems strangely familiar"
Thats strange. Because we think that you people drink out of the same KoolAid bottle too. Wouldn't be something simple, would it? Like we got all the brains and the smarts and you people are all daft and loony. Wouldn't be like that, now would it? Couldn't be. No. My ideas must be unique.
Of course they were. That's what happens when a society lets its guard down and starts rubbing elbows with the sub-human, inferior natives. If you kept your blacks separate like we used to do over here, you wouldn't see many whites involved in a thing like that. Know why...? Because they'd all be WORKING. And raising a FAMILY. As it is now, they’re ruined by the association that they keep.
Shit travels downhill, my man. And slime always seeks its own natural level. The sooner you learn the basic laws of social physics, the sooner you can stop being what you so obviously are... a LOSER.
And you anon are presumably a WINNER?????????????????
