NICE RESULTS FOR TEAM TIBET IN LONDON AND PARIS, LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS IN SAN FRANSISCO TODAY. BY MY RECKONING, INCLUDING THE INITIAL LIGHTING OF 'THE FLAME' IN ATHENS, IT'S THE OLYMPICS NIL:TEAM TIBET THREE!

Apart from the fact that we as a country have millions invested in tacky Chinese cheap goods I can't see the problem...
The Chinese invaded Tibet after the second world war but if you read some of the shite that the Chinese are posting regarding this then you would think they've been there for hundreds of years.
The argument for keeping politics out of sport is pretty one sided anyway... I remember the two black Americans in the sixties who gave the black power salute on the winners rostrum (and were told they were bad sportsmen and would lose their medals) Now those are the sort of guys they should give medals to.

look a right twat trying not to touch the flame ?
How gutless was that ?
Politics affects everything that we do in this world whether we like it or not... Even posting a reply on a site like this is a political act, as is hosting it and ignoring that fact won't get anyone anywhere.
Now let's see if the olympic committee have any guts and send the flame to S.F. ?
I reckon they'll cancel it which would be a great shame as I'm sure there are a few in 'Frisco who'd like to get involved...
